I know I promised to be back with exciting announcements, unfortunately I can't say anything yet, except to say that this blog will be going on hiatus for the foreseeable future. Talk to you later.
Sabatical
You might have noticed that I've hardly posted anything lately. Right now I'm trying to figure some stuff out and as a result the blog has become a very low priority on my to do list. So I've decided to go on sabbatical from now until the end of September while I focus on figuring out those other things. At the end of that time I hope to have some exciting announcements. I still may post from time to time so check back occasionally.

I came across this story the other day. I think it's really helpful for those times when you think nothing will ever happen with your writing/art dream.

Dealing with Paint Tube Twist Tops
The tops of watercolor tube paints, especially Windsor Newton* has a tendency to get stuck if you aren’t using them constantly. There are three ways that I know of (four if count plyers) to get around this.
- Run the top under warm water. I haven’t tried this yet, but I’ve heard from others that its works.
- Regurarly clean the end of the tube and cap whenever you open it. This works but it can be annoying to be doing all the time.
Use saran wrap. The saran wrap works great, but will eventually tear and need to be replaced. It can also be a little messy.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or know of any good artist quality brands of watercolor paint where this isn’t a problem? Post any answers in the comments.
*I’ve heard rumors that other brands do do this as much. Unfortunately since almost all my watercolors are Windsor Newton I have no proof of this.
