So I decided to give blogging another try, don't know if it will last- we'll see
My mother and some friends are having a garage sale this weekend and asked me if I would like to sell some of my stuff. I thought why not and spent most of Friday fiddling with magnets and greeting cards. My stone cards, which are based off a much bigger picture, just needed to be bagged with envelopes. For the hell of it I made some cards out of my Pear and Blue Poppy paintings. My dad found some more business magnets recently, which I promptly confiscated. I love these things! Of course I really like magnets in general - their cheap and make nice little pieces of art.
Of course I had to make some magnets to sell at the garage sale - so I did some Night Sky, Gorilla and Blue Poppy magnets. They turned out really well.
The picture shows all my stuff layed out at the garage sale. As you can see (upper right) I also have some miscellaneous cards that I did a while ago for sale.
Before I left on Saturday I made my first sale - how cool is that!
Here are some pictures I took from the demonstration. Unfortunately I was in the back so the view wasn't as good as it could have been.
